Mr blues 2 jazz

In my almost 61 years on this earth, I am a playwright,musician,jazz poet, producer and ethnomusicologist. I have founded or cofounded theater groups and Jazz societies, jazz newsletters/web-a-zine, co-founded Black musicians forum in San Francisco bay area.Currently writing a play based on growing up in Los Angeles,CA.during the 1960s playing saxophone, and being mentored by the finest in L.A. as a teen.

I witnessed some of the best of the jazz industry at iconic clubs as, The Lighthouse, Shelly's Manne Hole,Parisian Room,Donte's, and Baked Potatoe. Currently working as marketing & publicity  consultant for several jazz artists.
